Around Stor-Skarven but also the islands outside, the trout are fishing in search of food. Far from a guaranteed catch, but a good starting point if you want to try your hand at hunting for silver. The trout sometimes move close to land during spring and autumn in search of food. During the summer, however, they often disappear far out into the depths.

By boat, you can depart from Bureå marina. Want to try your luck in winter? Check the nearest snowmobile trail and avoid crossing estuaries where the ice may be weak.
