Norra Törnskogens naturreservat

Take bus 684 towards Täby Centrum from Upplands Väsby station or bus 684 towards Upplands Väsby station from Täby Centrum and get off at Fornboda. You can also take bus 527 towards Fornboda from Sollentuna station and get off at Fornboda. From Fornboda, follow Långbroleden/Fornstigen about 750 m south to the reserve entrance with visitor information. Please note that Långbroleden is poorly maintained, in terms of trail markings and the bridge over Fjärtursbäcken, between the bus stop and Norra Törnskogen nature reserve.

You can also take bus 527 towards Fornboda from Sollentuna station and get off at Smedstorp. From the bus stop, follow Frestavägen south, about 500 meters. At the sign "Törnskogen Nature Reserve", follow Grönanvägen for about 1.5 km to Norra Törnskogen's entrance with visitor information and rest area.

If you are traveling by car, drive Frestavägen and turn off at the sign "Törnskogens naturreservat" onto Grönanvägen. Follow the signs to the visitor parking lot in Norra Törnskogen nature reserve.

You can also reach one of the entrances to Södra Törnskogen Nature Reserve by entering from Frestavägen.

**In addition to legal and regulatory requirements, the public is prohibited from

1. put up posters, signs or similar. Signposts, orientation screens and questions may be put up temporarily provided that they are removed immediately after the event.
2. drive motor vehicles other than on roads
3. cycling other than on roads and marked cycle paths
4. riding horses other than on marked roads and bridleways
5. Damaging or destroying fixed natural objects or surface formations, e.g. by digging, drilling, hacking, carving, blasting or painting.
6. breaking branches, felling or otherwise damaging living or dead standing or lying trees and bushes
7. damaging vegetation by digging up plants such as sedges and herbs, or removing mosses, lichens or woody fungi, or picking finger fungi. The regulation does not apply to authorized activities.
8. Make fires other than in designated and prepared places.

Without the municipality's permission, it is forbidden to:** **

1. collect plants and animals, and dig pits for research and teaching purposes
2. organizing competitions or events with more than 100 participants. Please note that the regulations do not prevent the picking of flowers, berries and terrestrial mushrooms (other than finger fungi).
3. picking of finger fungi is prohibited as there is a highly endangered species in the nature reserve that is difficult to distinguish from other finger fungi (Ramaria flava).
