Beskrivelse
Norrhenninge Nature Reserve consists of spruce and aspen-dominated forest with interesting cryptogamic and vascular plant flora. Some spruce trees are over 160 years old with the presence of hanging lichen flora.
The area is slightly hilly with interspersed unthickened wetlands. The soil is partly calcareous.
There are no outdoor recreation facilities in the reserve.

Norrhenninge nature reserve is located immediately west of Åla, 2.5 miles northwest of Norrtälje town.
The nearest bus stop is in Ununge, more than 7 km walk from the nature reserve Search travel on SL -Storstockholms lokaltrafik
Regler
To protect Norrhenninge Nature Reserve, there are rules you must follow.
In the reserve it is forbidden to:
- drill, hack, blast, carve, dig, paint or in any way damage rock, soil or stone
- break branches, fell or otherwise damage living or dead trees and shrubs
- dig up plants such as reeds and herbs, or remove mosses, lichens or woody fungi
- drive a motorized vehicle off-road on both snow-covered and bare ground.
Picking flowers, berries and ground fungi is permitted.
