Färingtofta by Klippan

Färingtoftais an old village. The first time we find the name written is in 1377, and then it was spelled Fiaerthingetoftae.

The crofts and farms once belonged to Herrevadskloster. When the monastic life itself ceased, it was Danish noblemen who had the monastery as a fief with a special administration, which managed the leasehold farms.

If you come from the west and have crossed Munkabron and are approaching Färingtofta, Josephina's church is the first thing you see.
