Beskrivelse

Stage 9 takes you along Kilsbergskanten, passing four nature reserves, and on to Kilsbergsstugan in Tomasboda, where there is also a wind shelter. Tomasbodahöjden is the highest point on Kilsbergen and is an ideal spot to relax and have a bite to eat. Along the trail you will pass the ruins of the ancient Skansberget fortification, a relic from the Iron Age. You can also take the opportunity to go for a swim in the lake, Stora Dammsjön, rest your legs in the Vandraren Chapel, or check out the site of the Gölje disaster, when the dam burst and the Skinnarsågsfallet waterfall was created. The mysterious Trolldalen valley and Vargkitteln Nature Reserve offer exciting natural experiences. Our resting place is located beside Lake Göljan where you will find a wind shelter, fireplace and toilet.

Fresh water: Blankhults farm has a tap with drinking water on the west gable. There is also a well at Tomasboda. Gårdsjötorp, which you reach via a detour, approx. 500 meters, has water and toilet. In Ånnaboda there is a water tap both at the upper facility and the cottage in the parking lot.

Blankhult can be reached via Klockhammar. The bus goes there morning and evening on weekdays. From Klockhammar you can follow the gravel road up to Blankhult, just over 2.5 km. There are daily trips to Ånnaboda all year round.
