Beskrivelse
This Nature reserve contains a sparse pine forest on a moor, with plenty of old pine trees, some up to 500 years old. The area is 5.6 square kilometres and is an important foraging area for reindeer. On the roads near by there are barriers, which makes access limited by car.

Parravirreheden is situated 35 kilometres south of Jokkmokk centre. Since the dirt roads nearby have barriers, you have to walk 5 kilometres from road E45 to get here.
Rutevejledning
The nature reserve is located in the southern part of Jokkmokk municipality, about 35 kilometers south of Jokkmokk's central town, just west of Inlandsvägen. Access to the reserve is severely restricted as the two forest roads to the area are closed and it is about 5 kilometers to walk before reaching the reserve from the public road E45.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hiking
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- make a fire, remember to bring your own firewood
- drive snowmobiles on well-snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force.
It is not allowed to damage plant and animal life. Remember to respect the right of public access and protect nature.
