Marsijärvi is located in the Soutujärvi district between Skaulo and Puoltikasvaara. Located in a beautiful recreational area, this is an easily accessible destination that offers good recreational and fishing opportunities all year round.
There is a cabin on site with a fireplace and, if necessary, there is also an outhouse. Take a walk along the path that runs around the lake. Along the way you will find nice picnic areas, some of them equipped with shelters. Large parts of the area are accessible (although not the entire loop around the lake).
For those who want to fish, fishing licenses can be purchased at the shop in Skaulo. Is the shop closed for the day? Don't worry, click here to buy your fishing license online via ifiske.

From Gällivare, drive along the E10 in the direction of Kiruna. Between the villages Skaulo and Puoltikasvaara turn right towards Marsijärvi, the exit is marked with a sign.
