Beskrivelse
Kallaxheden is situated near Luleå city. It is a pine forest on a dry, sandy area with different lichens on the ground. The lichens are very fragile so don´t ride or bike outside the roads in the area. There is a hiking trail called Solanderleden that passes through Kallaxheden.

Kommunikationsflows
From central Luleå, you drive or take a bus to "Bergnäset". The Nature reserve is situated near Luleå Airport.
Rutevejledning
From Luleå city center, drive past Bergnäset towards Kallax airport and you will reach Kallaxheden.
Regler
Kallaxheden was previously protected as a nature conservation area. Nature conservation areas are now treated as nature reserves according to the rules of the Environmental Code, but with retained regulations for the area.
In Kallaxheden, the regulations mean that logging and other land use must be limited so that outdoor recreation and landscape conservation interests are taken into account.
It is not permitted to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
