Konstnärshemmet Tuvatorp was donated to the community in 1996 and is managed by a foundation. The farm consists of a residential house, a guest cottage, and two connected utility buildings, one of which is built from slag stone.
The couple’s home is unique in that all furnishings have been preserved, allowing the home to be regarded as a historical time capsule.
Konstnärshemmet hosts open-house events and is showcased several times throughout the year — for example during Norrbodagen as part of Grangärdebygdens Week in early July, and during the Ludvika Art Tour on All Saints’ Weekend. In addition, various activities are arranged during the summer. A permanent art exhibition is located in the house, where selected artworks by Margit Rahm are available for purchase.

Rutevejledning
Visitor address: Norrbovägen 70, Nyhammar.
Directions: The home is located in the village of Norrbo between Västansjö and Nyhammar. Take Road 66 from Ludvika toward Grangärde/Sälen. Before reaching Nyhammar, turn left toward Västansjö/Norrbo. At the bus stop Norrbovägen, turn left, then continue approximately 500 meters to Tuvatorp. Signposted.
