At Karlsmyren, you can experience the silence or the teasing of a yellow eagle. Or study the rich vegetation in the unusual extreme marshes - one of the county's finest. Many endangered species are associated with this particularly species-rich habitat, including plants, birds and shells.

In the reserve it is not allowed to...
- damage growing or dead - standing or fallen - trees, stumps and bushes, with the exception of collecting loose, small branches and twigs for the purpose of making a fire.
- driving a motorized vehicle off-road on bare ground
**Without permission from the County Administrative Board, it is also forbidden to
- dig up plants, pick mosses, lichens and wood-living fungi or collect animals (e.g. insects)
- holding or conducting competitions, camps and other major or recurring organized events.
