Rensättra naturreservat

Rensättra nature reserve is Nacka's newest reserve out of a total of fifteen. The work of marking trails and setting up information signs will be completed in the fall of 2021.

Rensättra is largely characterized by the open fields that were previously part of Rensättra farm. Historical traces show a long continuity of human use and the area has a great cultural-historical value. Grave fields from the Late Iron Age indicate that the area was already inhabited in the 10th century.

The nature in the reserve is varied. The larger forest areas have high biological values, especially in the rocky pine forest with older pines that are over 150 years old, some as old as 250 years.

The reserve has a colony area and a climbing rock for those who want to climb.
