The nature reserve includes the island of Bullerskär in Gräsköfjärden just north of Norröra. You can get here most easily by boat.

There are no outdoor recreation facilities in the reserve, apart from information signs.

To protect the Bullerskär Nature Reserve, there are rules you must follow.

In the reserve it is forbidden to:

1. damage or remove natural objects or surface formations, reserve signs or devices for scientific sampling and marking of sampling sites
2. disturbing wildlife, e.g. by climbing nesting trees, staying in the vicinity of pots, catching or killing mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians
3. bringing dogs or other pets that are not on a leash
4. breaking branches, felling or otherwise damaging living or dead trees and shrubs and digging up plants such as rice, herbs, mosses or lichens
5. make an open fire
6. camping.

Without the permission of the County Administrative Board, it is forbidden to

1. organize group trips with more than 10 visitors
2. collecting wood insects and wood fungi and taking drill samples from living trees.
