Trasken runt, Östgötaleden

If you want to have access to a shelter and a fireplace and visit a nice bird lake, this could be the loop for you.

The trail starts and ends at the Malmkullen homestead in Nartorp with the possibility of parking. The first part goes on road 210 and then turns off into the forest. Currently, it is a clearcut almost all the way to Lake Trasken. Right next to the water there is a windbreak and barbecue area.

The circular trail continues around the lake, sometimes along paths. If you are lucky, you may find mushrooms in the fall. The walk takes you through coniferous and deciduous forest back to the starting point. The entire loop is 6 km.

The trail runs on gravel roads, forest paths, footbridges and a bit of asphalt.
