Beskrivelse
This is a vast wetland area, with some forest here and there. In the western part there is a dryer area with a sandy pine forest. The area is 6.9 square kilometres.

The nature reserve is located about seven kilometers north of the village of Vittangi, on the east side of Inlandsvägen (E45).

The nature reserve is located about 7 kilometers north of Vittangi.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hiking
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- make a fire, remember to bring your own firewood
- drive snowmobiles on well-snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force.
It is not allowed to damage plant and animal life. Remember to respect the right of public access and protect nature.
