Beskrivelse
Pellokielas is one of the most stunning virgin forest reserves in Norrbotten County, well worth a visit. Here you find an abundance of 500-year pines and exceptional quantities of dead wood. It lies easily accessible near a road and is easy to hike. At the road there is a small car park and a latrine. Special regulations apply for hunting, lighting a fire and snowmobiling: see the regulations in the reserve designation on the County Administrative Board website. The area is 8.3 square kilometres in size.

The nature reserve lies about 25 kilometres southeast of Nattavaara in the southern part of Gällivare Municipality. The road between the village of Polcirkeln and Nattavaara by passes through the reserve.

Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping - hiking - making fires in designated areas - picking berries and edible mushrooms - fishing in accordance with the laws in force
Special rules apply to hunting and snowmobiling in the reserve. You can read more about this in the reserve decision. It is not permitted to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
