Fornatorp

Steamboats used to anchor at the old stone jetty at Fornatorp. Now tubular binoculars go to the same place. The spot is good for those who want to look at the open waters of Rottnen. In both spring and fall, the lake attracts birds that migrate inland on their way from the west coast to the Baltic Sea. Over the years, long-tailed ducks, blackbirds, eiders and several other marine species have been observed.
