Information board number 7 tells about the stone walls that were built around farms and plantations

Stone walls were built around farms and crops to prevent animals and people from getting in and out as they pleased. The Helsing family was an important mining family in both Falun and Sala during the 1600s. The family moved to Sala from Öster Silvberg in Dalarna and may have had their farm here. The remains of a stone foundation may have belonged to this farm which was called Helsingegården.
