The trail takes you past places that hark back to the days of mining and timber floating. Nybergskällan, with its radioactive water, was in the past said to have been a health spa. The trail also passes a number of outstanding nature reserves. If you can, take the opportunity to bathe in Lake Lillsjön, the best wilderness bathing spot in Kilsbergen, Discover the Lekebergslagen mining area, where mining took place between the 16th century and 19th century. Lekhytteklint, with a view across the Närke plain, was previously the site of aircraft warning towers, the foundations of which still remain today. Our resting place is beside the gushing waters of the Lillsjöbäcken river, where you will find a wind shelter, fireplace and toilet. There are also wind shelters at Sixtorp and Stenbäcken.

Fresh water: Lekhyttan's kitchen & kiosk offers water when they are open. Most often 09-17.00 At Stenbäckens friluftsgård there is an outdoor tap at the back of the house. At Sixtorps friluftsgård there is an outdoor tap at one of the smaller cabins quite close to the shelters. There is also a cold spring just before Sixtorp. Follow the nature trail, arrow to the right. After 200 meters on this path you will find the spring on the right.

Lekhyttan has a bus stop on the E18 with daily traffic Örebro-Karlskoga.

You can order local traffic from Mullhyttan to Sixtorp.
