Beskrivelse
Here you find dense pine forests interspersed by open, hilly pine moors with rocky ridges. In the slope down towards the river there are deep ravines covered by old-growth spruce and aspen. Two streams flow through the reserve, Rappobäcken in the northern part and Riepikåtatj in the southern part. The area is 1.4 square kilometres in size.

Kommunikation
Rappobäcken lies about 18 kilometres north of Vuollerim. There are several different roads to choose between to get to the reserve. One is from Vuollerim towards Påkevare. From there, you continue towards north northeast on small roads until you reach the reserve.

Rappobäcken is located about 18 kilometers north of Vuollerim. There are several different routes to choose from to get to the reserve. One possible route is to go from Vuollerim towards Påkevare and from there head north-northeast on smaller roads until you reach the reserve which is located opposite Nedre Kuouka, but on the western side of the Stora Lule River.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is permitted to: - camp - hike - make a small fire - drive a snowmobile on well snow-covered ground - pick berries and edible mushrooms - fish and hunt in accordance with applicable laws
It is not allowed to litter or damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
