Mellbystrand – Båstad station, Hallandsleden

The section starts at the historic Strandhotellet, built in 1927, and continues down the famous sandy beaches of Laholmsbukten, past the classic seaside resorts of Mellbystrand and Skummeslövsstrand. The hike takes you past Skummeslövsbadet, which was opened in 1961. Then it heads through Södra Skummeslöv nature reserve’s pine forest and the residential areas to Båstad Station, where the section ends. Båstad Station is where the Hallandsleden trail meets the Skåneleden hiking trail.
