Beskrivelse
The reserve offers you a rich natural and cultural experience spread out between some 20 smaller islands and skerries. The larger islands are home to older coniferous and broadleaf forests. A rich flora and insect fauna live among the older trees and dead wood. Several of the islands are part of an old and extensively cultivated landscape that has been used for both grazing and haymaking. On Korsholmen and Stora Norrholmen there are traces of small fields that were plowed and cultivated long ago. Many of the islands are well suited to a beach hike, especially on Korsholmen and Lilla Norrholmen. Keep in mind that there may be grazing animals on several of the islands. You can reach the reserve by boat or kayak.

Fakta
Within the nature reserve there are bird protection areas where landing is prohibited between April 1 and July 15.
Regler
*Rules for visitors to Stora Rimmö nature reserve:
- You may not destroy or damage solid natural objects or surface formations.
- You may not camp or moor a boat for more than one night. Exceptions are if you have received the landowner's permission.
- You may not disturb wildlife by, for example, taking close-up photographs of a bird's nest, lair, pot or similar.
