Beskrivelse
Puolva is a so-called dead-ice area. Large blocks of ice remained here after the most recent ice age and in melting created hollows where today we have little lakes. The tarns and mires were surrounded by hills and moraine ridges. There are in the area ancient remains in the form of dwelling pits and a hearth in the area. There are also traces of ancient hay drying racks and hay barns. The area is 8.7 square kilometres in size.

Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hiking
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground
- fishing and hunting in accordance with applicable laws
Fires may only be lit in designated areas. It is not allowed to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
