The nature reserve is located about 1.5 miles northeast of Ramsjö in Ljusdal municipality.

Special rules apply in the nature reserve. It is not allowed to:

• drive motorized vehicles other than on roads intended for motorized traffic
• take firewood. Firing is only permitted if you have brought your own firewood
• breaking branches, felling or otherwise damaging living or dead standing or fallen trees and bushes
• damage, pick or collect plants, fungi and algae. However, picking berries, edible mushrooms and flowers for personal use is allowed, except for protected and red-listed species
• climbing trees, staying near a bird of prey's nest, lair or burrow, collecting animals or otherwise deliberately harming or disturbing wildlife
• bringing an off-leash dog or other unleashed pet
• putting up a picture, poster, billboard, sign or inscription
• damaging any fixed object or surface formation such as moving or removing rocks
• engage in rock climbing
• operate a personal watercraft.
