Lugnet-Barkdal naturreservat

Just northwest of the center of Leksand and along Siljan is the urban reserve Lugnet-Barkdal. The forest consists mainly of pine or mixed coniferous forest on sandy, dry soil.

The many paths reveal that the area is well visited. The forest area has been used for recreation since the early 1900s. Here you can walk your dog, run on soft paths or just sit down on a bench and enjoy a moment.

On the shores of Lake Siljan, you can stroll along the Solvändan promenade.
