The trail is well marked and offers varied environments and varied landscapes. The trail goes through mixed forest, past marshes and stone slabs. There are also a number of rest areas with wind shelters along the trail.

The old road between the churches runs through varied nature and provides good opportunities for nature experiences.If you want to spend the night, there is the timber hay barn "Krypladan" near the intersection Kyrkstigen / Brännvattsvägen.

You can park at Skellefteå Landskyrka or at Burträsk Church. The two end points. Along the trail there are many places to start. However, no official parking lots are marked.
