Nordiska Travmuseet

The only museum of its kind in northern Europe.

The Nordic Trotting Museum is beautifully situated inside the spectator area at the trotting track along the E18 east of Årjäng. The focus of the basic exhibition is the horse and the history of harness racing. The museum also contains a library with literature about harness racing.

Great selection of goods for those interested in horses in the museum shop. The Nordic Trotting Museum is also an ATG-agent so that you can bet on horses and watch the races live. Conference Conference rooms in various sizes equipped with modern technique in pleasant atmosphere.

Restaurant The museums restaurant is known for its good food and lunch is served Monday-Friday 11.00-14.30. Open weekdays 11.00-16.00 and on reservation. For the children The children can take care of our beloved wooden horses in the museum and for the smallest ones there is a special play area. There is also an outside playground next to the museum.
