Uddby gård

Uddby farm, together with Alby farm, is a valuable cultural-historical environment in the middle of the municipality. The farms are mentioned as early as 1409 as part of the Tyre estate. At Uddby there have always been grazing animals that keep the landscape open, probably already in ancient times. In the surrounding terrain there are cairns from the Bronze Age and several burial grounds from the Iron Age. There are also newly discovered bowl pits! You can come to this living agricultural environment with a local museum to learn more about how a farm works - the farm is open to visitors. The Magnusson family leased the farm between 1929 and 2016. Now Uddby farm has a new tenant David Neveling who runs the farm together with Malin Virhage.
