Tjänstebostäder för Finnboda varv

On the hill east of Danvikshem are three villas. They are the only residential buildings left of the Finnboda shipyard's residential buildings. The houses were official residences for engineers and foremen. The western house with a high glass veranda dates from 1886, the middle one from 1890 and the eastern villa was built in 1920.

Below Danvikshem, on the slope just below the yellow villa, was the croft Finnboda, which eventually became a farm-like settlement. In the 1730s, the name was spelled "Finbo" - a sign that Finns probably lived there.
