Naturbad i Brandalsund naturreservat

Brandalsund Nature Reserve is a well-visited and very popular outdoor area with high biodiversity. Here you will find a large grazed pasture with unusually rich flora, majestic old pines and fine beaches for natural swimming.

You can swim along the entire shoreline. The beaches in the south and east consist of fine sand with adjacent grassland. The southern beach is very shallow. The beaches along Norrviken in the northern part of the reserve consist of gravel bottom with grassland adjacent. From the southern reserve parking lot, it is about 400 meters to walk to the various beaches.

The beaches in Brandalsund are located within a pasture. Cows graze here in the spring and fall.

The bath is not a municipal bath and therefore the water quality is not controlled. The pasture and beaches are partly flat and easily accessible. The roads to both the eastern and southern beaches are flat, hard and wide. A ferry service makes it easier for visitors with wheelchairs or prams to get in. There are several fireplaces with firewood, benches and picnic tables adjacent to the beaches. There is also a toilet in the nature reserve.
