Beskrivelse
Grendalen nature reserve consists of flat woodland and is located north of the overgrown Björnsjön, just north of Lake Bornan. The area was previously grazed but has since grown over with forest. Today the forest is varied with many deciduous trees, some shrubs and glades.
There are no outdoor recreation facilities in the reserve, apart from information signs.

Rutevejledning
Grendalens naturreservat nås idag enklast till fots via mindre skogsvägar som inte är öppna för allmän trafik. Närmaste busshållplats är Ortala by där buss 643 stannar. Därifrån är det drygt 2 kilometers vandring till reservatets sydöstra del. Sök resa på SL, Storstockholms lokaltrafik
Regler
To protect the Grendalen nature reserve, there are rules that you must follow. In the reserve it is forbidden to:
- drill, hack, blast, carve, dig, paint or in any other way damage rock, soil or stone
- felling or otherwise damaging both living and dead trees and bushes, and removing dead wood
- dig up plants such as reeds and herbs, or remove mosses, lichens or woody fungi
- camping for more than two consecutive days.
