Beskrivelse
The forest contains stately pine trees that are home to, among other things, the pine bark beetle, which only occurs on pines that are more than a hundred years old. Brännskogen also has a young forest, with a handful of tall pines with rough crowns. These are the nesting trees of the shy osprey. Keep a respectful distance! You can also find blueberries in the forest.
Rutevejledning
Take bus 545 from Upplands Väsby station to Bollstanäs and get off at Fresta prästgård. Then follow the field south of Fresta vicarage. The forest edge rises above the easy beach path.
