Beskrivelse
Most of Ägnö is accessible under the right of public access. The island's meadows have been farmed for several hundred years and Ägnö farm was burnt down in 1719 during the Russian ravages of the Great Northern War (1700-1721). The farm on the island today dates from the 1720s.
On the west side of the island, Nacka Sea Scouts have their harbor and on the east side there is a large and well-known natural harbor, Napoleon Bay, which is visited by many pleasure boats in the summer. The bay was probably named because Napoleon III's son Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte visited Ägnö in the 1800s.
The landowner of the entire archipelago is the Erstavik fideikommiss.
