Stig Hjässan till Stocklycke

Go up to Hjässan. There used to be an ancient castle up here. One of three ancient castles on the mountain. There are traces of people on Omberg back to the same time as the last ice sheet retreated here, about 11000 years ago.

Follow the blue trail down the other side of Hjässan. When you cross a gravel road, turn off the trail and go right.

Follow the trail signposted towards the ecopark center. When you are in the beech forest, walk next to the zipline. One of several active tourist businesses on the mountain. The trail ends at Stocklycke parking lot.
