Beskrivelse
On Sammakkovaara, Finnish for "Frog Mountain", productive, leafy mixed coniferous forests grow which have sprung up after forest fires. In the northeast it is a little moister and here we find spruce forest, brookside wetlands and luxuriant vegetation. The area is 1.5 square kilometres in size.

All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is permitted to: - hike - camp - pick berries and edible mushrooms - drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground - fish and hunt in accordance with applicable laws - make a small fire with loose twigs and branches
Damaging plant and animal life or littering is not allowed. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
