Beskrivelse
In Nuortajegge there are mires and virgin like forest. Here you find both primary and young undisturbed forests. In the southwestern corner there is an area which burned in 1933. Here the pines and silver birch is stand so dense that in some places it is difficult to make your way forward. The nature reserve is 4.3 square kilometres in size.

Kommunikation
Nuortajegge lies on the Råne river, about 20 kilometres east of Vuollerim on the boundary between Gällivare and Jokkmokk municipalities. From Murjek a road leads southeast with a turning north of Mörtberg which leads as far as the reserve.

Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hike
- make a fire, remember to bring your own wood!
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
