Beskrivelse
In Alterberget mountain´s spruce forest there also grow thick aspen and willow. The air humidity is high. That favours Lungwort, which here unusually grows on spruce. There are several trails to hike on in the area, which covers 0.5 square kilometres and has a snowmobile ban.

Kommunikation
Alterberget lies about 5 kilometres northwest of the village of Måttsund. From the E4 turn off at Måttsundsronningen and continue past a gravel pit. The same road can also be reached from the east, near Gäddvik.
Rutevejledning
Alterberget is located about 5 kilometers northeast of the village of Måttsund. From the E4 highway, you can turn off at Måttsundsronningen and continue the gravel road to the reserve. There is a small pocket to park your car. It is also possible to turn onto the same gravel road from the Gäddvik direction, the road is signposted "Bergtäkt" and is located in the curve on the road towards the E4 from the Gäddvik junction.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hiking
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- fishing and hunting in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to drive snowmobiles in the reserve or to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
