Örsjön-Lillasjöns fiskevårdsområde

The fishing area Örsjön-Lillasjön is located on the border Småland-Scania, about 25 km southwest of Älmhult. The lake has many picturesque islands of various sizes, and the maximum depth of the water is about 10.5 meters. Here you can catch pike, pike-perch, trout, and more.

Please note that the right of public access (allemansrätten) applies both on land and water but does not cover fishing. For fishing in Örsjön-Lillasjön you need a permit (fiskekort), which you can buy online through the iFiske link or at the tourist information office in the Älmhult municipal hall.

The local fishing organisation of Örsjön-Lillasjön also offers boat rentals and there is a depth map of the lake for sale. For those who have their own boat, there are two boat ramps to choose from, where the boat can be launched into the lake directly from a car trailer. It is also possible to fish from one of the lake's jetties – the one close to Örsjön's southern boat launch is wheelchair accessible.
