Beskrivelse
The Kråketorp nature reserve has mysterious old growth forest teeming with life. Beard lichen flutter from heavy tree branches. Moss, heather and bilberries cover the ground. Western capercaillies, pygmy owls and woodpeckers thrive in this environment, as do elks, foxes and otters. In the West Kråketorp woods, you can do a dawn excursion on the gravel road between Musteryd and Sandvik, where you have a good chance of coming upon capercaillies, pygmy owls and elks. Along the area's smaller forest roads, there are mushrooms in abundance. In the East Kråketorp woods, an exciting hiking trail takes you through very hilly terrain. This walk takes about two hours. Hurricanes Per and Gudrun have partially created a new landscape. See the link below for more information about the Kråketorpskogen nature reserve. This nature reserve is administered by the County Administration of Kronoberg.

Kråketorps nature reserve is located about 15 kilometers east of Lammhult and just over four miles north of Växjö.
Regler
You are welcome to visit the nature reserve, but please note that it is not allowed to:
- damage or remove living or dead plants and plant parts, with the exception of picking berries and mushrooms for domestic use
- camp, set up a caravan or motorhome
- make fires
- driving a motorized vehicle
- collect insects, spiders, snails, worms or other invertebrates
- otherwise disturbing wildlife, for example by approaching bird nests and the like
- affixing a board, sign, inscription, poster or similar device
- marking trails or organizing orienteering checks or competitions
- bring an unleashed dog or other loose pet
Other legislation on what you are allowed to do in the forest and land also applies in the nature reserve
