The site has a sandy bottom with rocks. A path runs out onto the headland to the rest area, and there is a bird tower on the south side. Please note that the rest area at Gunnarudden is within a bird protection area with special regulations, for more information visit the County Administrative Board of Gävleborg's website - found under links.
