Beskrivelse
The trail follows the Tunaån river through ravines and pastures and is lined with information signs and rest areas. The stretch along the river is 2 km of slightly hilly hiking on a nature trail, wet parts are mostly shoveled. The entire round trip through the farmland on the small roads between Tyllsnäs-Färjegårdarna-Österby is 6 km long for those who do not want to walk the distance along the river round trip.
The starting point for the route along the river is at Kaptensbostället at Österby. It is also possible to start at Färjegårdarna for the entire round trip.

Parkering
Parking spaces are limited. There is space for 3 cars at Österby (Do not park at the residence but at the parking lot facing the main road). At Färjegårdarna there is some possibility to park on the field at the steamboat dock, but do not block the landing place for boats in the river.
Rutevejledning
From central Borlänge:
Bicycle: Bicycle path south via Årby towards Färjegårdarna.
Bus: Bus 4 or 71 to Färjegårdarna.
Car: Highway 70 southbound turn left towards Färjegårdarna before the bridge over Tunaån. Then turn south on Tyllsnäsvägen and first right towards Österby kaptensboställe park after the captain's residence out towards the highway at the end of the road.

anordnad parkering finns numera under riksvägsbron. åk mot kaptensbostaden och följ grusvägen ner till vänster. där finns bra parkeringsmöjligheter direkt i anslutning till leden.
