ST. BIRGITTA'S CHURCH

A wooden church that seems to be inspired by a hut, belongs to Knivsta parish, Church of Sweden, and was inaugurated in 1992. The architects are Helena Tallius Myhrman and Magnus Myhrman. A wooden bell tower painted red stands east of the church on the site where the pastor's office is located. Two bells cast by Bergholtz klockgjuteri in Sigtuna hang from the tower. A rune stone from early Christian times stands right next to the church.
