Beskrivelse
Hasselbacken is a green gem that you will find between the apartment buildings in central Knivsta. Here you step off the asphalt road and walk into a beautiful hazel grove. Högåsen rises out of the grove, where pine and the occasional oak are the dominant tree species. At the highest point, 43 meters above sea level, there is a tree mirror where you can look at the tree crowns from a different perspective. You can also sit down on a bench surrounded by lush greenery. The highest point is only 100 m from the nearest footpath/cycle path. The path to the site is uneven and bumpy and not suitable for prams or walkers.
Hasselbacken has beautiful flora and a rich bird life.
Hasselbacken is one of Uppsala county's natural treasures. A nature spot is an area with high natural and outdoor values that is accessible to visitors.

The Hasselbacken beauty spot is managed and administered by Knivsta municipality.
Parkering
There is no parking right next to Hasselbacken. The nearest parking lot is on Lertagsvägen by Högåsskolan. The large commuter parking lot that extends from the station and north is also only a few hundred meters from Hasselbacken.
Kommunikation
Hasselbacken is centrally located in Knivsta. If you come by train or bus, you can walk from Knivsta station.
Rutevejledning
Om du går från stationen i Knivsta följer du gå Centralvägen norrut. Vid ICA tar du vänster in på Lertagsvägen. Efter ca 100 m, sväng höger in på gång- och cykelvägen direkt efter Högåsskolans skolgård och följ vägen upp på åsen. Sväng höger från gångvägen in på Högåsvägen så ser du en entré stolpe på höger sida efter 20 meter.
