Beskrivelse
Norppujoki is large, varied area of primary forests and mires. In the middle of the reserve, Norppujoki stream flows from north to south. The area is 9.8 square kilometres in size.

Kommunikation
Norppujoki lies about 20 km west of Svanstein, straddling the boundary between Övertorneå and Pajala municipalities. From Svanstein, a road heads westwards past Rantajärvi. From Rantajärvi a road leads southwest which has two different logging roads 8 km apart turning off it, that both reach the reserve.
Rutevejledning
Norppujoki is located about 2 miles west of Svanstein, across the border between Övertorneå and Pajala municipalities. From Svanstein a road goes west past Rantajärvi. From Rantajärvi, a road goes southwest with two different forest roads reaching the reserve.
Regler
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hike
- make a fire, remember to bring your own wood!
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
