Matojärvi byagård

Matojärvi Village Farm offers a scenic stay with several amenities. There are three pitches for caravans on the site, making it possible to camp comfortably. For relaxation, visitors can use an outdoor sauna or enjoy meals in a barbecue hut. Safety is also a priority, with a defibrillator available on site.

Matojärvi Hembygdsförening rents out all or part of its premises. The premises consist of the homestead (old school), barbecue hut and sauna. In the homestead itself there are 2 kitchens, one on the upper floor and one on the ground floor. On the ground floor there is a shower and toilet. The tenant cleans up after himself.

There is a service line that runs from Matojärvi-Övertorneå once a week on Fridays. Registration is made no later than Thursday to the service center 0771 - 100 110 and costs:

7-19 years, 20-25 years and 65+ it costs 50kr/half year. 26-64 years it costs 1500 / half year.

The ticket can be used on all lines in the municipality.
