Marklandahöjden

The hill southeast of Marklanda Farm is one of the favorites among Växjö's birdwatchers. The landscape is bright and open. In spring and fall, geese, vultures, pigeons and small birds pass by in large numbers. Red kites, kestrels and skylarks are among the area's breeding birds. In the juniper meadows there are often moorhens and shrikes. Meadowhawk, Sandwich Tern, Roseate Tern, Song Sparrow and Corn Bunting are rarities that have been seen over the years. Activity
