**Näsnabben Nature Reserve offers old, tall beech forests, fine views over Skärsjön and a lot of cultural history. Some of the beech stands are over 200 years old and contain an abundance of rare species of lichens and insects. Birdlife is also rich, with wood pigeon and lesser flycatcher in the forest and Eurasian bittern in Skärsjön.

The trail passes by the remains of two crofts and a hut: Prästanäset, Klockarenäset and Minkahyttan. The local history society has put up information boards at these and several other interesting places. At Prästanäset, the earth cellar has recently been restored. Here you can also see how a densely planted spruce forest has been transformed into an attractive birch forest. Dyre cemetery is an ancient site of uncertain origin. It was previously thought to be a cemetery from the medieval plague outbreak, but now it is more likely that the remains belong to old settlements in the area.

If you want to walk a shorter route, there is a shortcut in the middle of the path that shortens it by about two km. You can also choose to just walk the stretch along the lake and then walk the way back. To get to the trail, drive from Grimeton church towards Mjöavad. Turn left towards Karlsvik and drive past Björbäck. When you reach a power line, turn right up a steep hill and then follow the road until you reach the reserve's parking lot.
