It’s mossy. It’s rocky. It’s uneven. But absolutely wonderful in the old forest! You can follow a 4.5-kilometres-long trail through the Pansarudden nature reserve. This trail is for those who want a challenging hike, at least for parts of it.

Pansarudden is located just under ten kilometres northeast of Knutby.
By car: From road 288, turn off towards Hallstavik on road 661 just east of Gåvsta. 25 kilometres later, you’ll pass over Lake Vällen, and a couple of kilometres onward, you’ll turn right towards Vällnora and Bennebols Bruk. After four kilometres, you’ll pass the northern parking area in the Pansarudden nature reserve. Carry on for a few kilometres to the southern parking area.
By bus: There are no nearby bus stops.
