Welcome to classic leisure in the mountain world with modern activities and comfortable living. The accommodation here is of high standard, close to the Marsfjällen mountains and the Kultsjön lake. The mountains and lake just outside the door provide opportunities for a range of activities for the whole family.

Accommodation
The hotel is on the shore of Kultsjön with a view across the lake to the mountains. We offer single and double rooms, all with en suite facilities and TV. Most rooms have a view of the beautiful Marsfjällen mountains and the Kultsjön lake. Do you feel like adding a bit of luxury? Book the Kungliga Sviten (Royal Suite) on the top floor.

The hotel and the restaurant are open during the tourist season, and all weekends in January and February. It can be booked for groups at any time. Book early if you are planning to visit on popular dates, such as during the Christmas market, Christmas itself and the New Year celebrations. We are often fully booked during the winter with skiers looking to enjoy the first snow of the year.

Breakfast, lunch and evening dinner are served during the tourist season, when we also offer children’s menus. The bistro and café are also open as part of the Saxnäsgården restaurant.

To see and do
Saxnäs offers special experiences all through the year. It is wonderful to hike through the dynamic life here during the beautiful summer, and cloudberries and chantarelles await discovery during the autumn. Saxnäs always gets copious amounts of snow, and the winter and early spring are dominated by cross-country skiing, snowmobile driving, and trips to the peaks by snowcat. The area has excellent fishing waters with highly varied fishing. Fishing season is from Late June to late August.
