Lill-Månkes koja

Lill-Månke's hut is a small timber building and is located along the trail between Saxnäs and Rissjö.

The hut has a total of four sleeping places, two in bunk beds and two tent beds.

The hut is unlocked and accommodation in the hut is free. It is simple accommodation with beds, stove, table and chairs. Bring all your own equipment. It is not possible to book the hut or the sleeping places.

Offer a place to sleep to new guests if you have already slept one night. Hikers and skiers have priority for the sleeping places.

You as a visitor clean up after yourself and carry firewood from the wood store to the next guest. Firewood is available as meter wood. Do not forget to splinter sticks that are easy to make a fire with.

Dogs are allowed in the hut.

The hut is named after Lill-Månke, who is said to have been Sweden's shortest Sami. He lived between 1856-1940 and is said to have been two cubits, 120 cm, tall.
