Description

The Korshamn nature reserve is located on the north tip of Malmaön island. The area contains numerous glacial potholes, also called giant's cauldrons, created during the last Ice Age. They were formed by strong water currents below the ice surface which caused rocks and gravel to erode holes into the bedrock. The largest of these potholes is 6 m in diameter!

The vegetation in the reserve consists of pine and spruce forests.
